Caché Monitor license activation details and how to

You have two options to activate your Caché Monitor license ONLINE (preferred) and BROWSER:

Online activation

Online activation is a easy to use and the preferred avtion processe. This means that Caché Monitor open a connection via internet to a license server, validate your license- and activation request and bind your license to your current hardware.

Please follow these steps for online activation:

1. Start Caché Monitor
2. Open die License Dialog via: Help -> Manage license
3. Press the button “Install license” and select the attached file
4. Press the button “Activate”
5. Restart Caché Monitor

Browser activation

Please follow these steps for browser based activation:

1. Start Caché Monitor
2. Open die License Dialog via: Help -> Manage license
3. Press the button “Install license” and select the attached file
4. Press the button “Manuel license activation” and follow the steps on this dialog
5. Restart Caché Monitor

Details and troubleshooting

For the online activation process the computer use internet connection. In some network environments this is done via a proxy server that require authentication. If you using a proxy server for internet access, please insert your proxy data like. Please do not restart Caché Monitor is you have entered the proxy data! For security reason the proxy data (user, pwd etc.) are not saved, because Caché Monitor needs this data only one time for license  activation.

1. Go to the menu “help” -> “manage license”
2. Install license, if not already done
3. Press the “Proxy…” button and insert your proxy data on the new dialog. Press “ok” if done.
4. Press the “Activate” Button
