Version 0.50 is available for download.

What's new in this version?

Because of using Java 6, Caché Monitor can now start the system default Webbrowser. That is not so easy in Java as it sounds ;) The first features that uses these are:

  • The System Management Portal & Caché Documentation can easily started from selected server
  • In the new designed Class viewer selecting the class node in tree opens the Caché Class Documentation

Caché Monitor 0.50 uses the new Controls-Sets version from SwingX. That brings brand new features and better handling and System Look&Feel, nicer login dialog ;), smarter search in some controls e.g. in Tables and much more...

More news:

  • New designed SQL-View viewer
    • Information about views are displayed like the Tables Viewer it does. So you can see data and metadata, also the definition SQL for the view
  • New designed Class Viewer
  • Enable the execution plan TreeView, since Version 0.41 or so, only the HTML Version works, sorry
