A new Version of Caché Monitor is ready for download. Please save your config.properties if you have the driver settings changed. You find this file in the Caché Monitor installation folder.

By default this version comes with just three driver and driver settings:

For Caché 2011

drv_2011=lib\\2011\\CacheDB.jar;lib\\2011\\cachejdbc.jar

For Caché 2008

drv_2008=lib\\2008.2_CacheDB.jar

For very old Caché installations <= Caché 5.2
drv_<5.2=lib\\5.2_CacheDB.jar

If you need any other driver just add a entry to this file.

This release includes security enhancements and bug fixes

Since Java SE 6u21 includes version 17.0 of the Java HotSpot Virtual Machine with improvements to overall quality and features such as compressed object pointers, escape analysis-based optimization, code cache management, the Concurrent Mark-Sweep garbage collector and its successor, the Garbage First (G1) garbage collector.

What Java Do I Need? You must have a copy of the JRE (Java Runtime Environment) on your system to run Caché Monitor. So, download the latest version from here.

In the download section is a new release of Caché Monitor. This version is brand new and experimental, also called a BETA version! ;) I recommend that you backup you configuration files of Caché Monitor before you test and use the new release.

The new version is called Caché Monitor 2010 (1.60) because i have changed a lot and i think after some years it is time to leave the "0.xx" version range ;)

So what is new: First of all one of the bigger changes are that Caché Monitor can handle more than one Caché database driver at the same time.

The new Cache Monitor V0.58 is ready for download. By default the variable substitution for sql script is disabled.

Caché Monitor 0.57 is a minor update version. In this version the variable substitution in SQL scripts supports setting a default value.

Variables are used to build parameterized SQL statements whereas the values are prompted by Caché Monitor when the SQL is executed.
