Caché Monitor requires Java 6 or higher to be installed. You can download the latest Java Runtime Environment from Sun's Java site.

Older versions of Caché Monitor than 0.50 need only Java 5. But it is a good choice to upgrade your Java Environment to Java 6 and Cache Monitor to 0.50.

  • Caché JDBC Driver
You find the Database-Driver in your Caché installation folder: ...\CacheSys\Dev\java\lib\CacheDB.jar

You can also download some driver versions for InterSystems Caché from here

  • The latest Version of Caché Monitor can be downloaded in ZIP format from here
(You must be registered AND logged in at cachemonitor.de to download! This was necessary to limit the website traffic)
You find old versions here without limited access to registered users.
  • Caché Monitor does not require an installer. To install Caché Monitor, you will need an unzip tool. You can download a free, cross-platform unzip tool, Info-Zip, available at http://www.info-zip.org/.

Unzip Caché Monitor into a folder (directory) of your choice (for example, C:\Program Files\CacheMonitor). The ZIP archive will not add any entries to the Start menu, add desktop launchers or even register the software in the Windows registry.

Now copy the driver file (CacheDB.jar) in the same folder like the Cachè Monitor programmfile (for example, C:\Program Files\CacheMonitor) .
